What We Do

The PTO’s main purpose is to support our wonderful teachers and administration, which in turn creates a positive and caring atmosphere in our school that all of our children benefit from. Joining the Silver Rail parent organization also helps you get to know the teachers and staff better, enables social connections among Silver Rail families, and is fun and rewarding. The Silver Rail PTO works hard to make sure that when each child comes to school, they have an equal opportunity to be successful learners.

    We work together with school administration to provide a positive and safe school environment for all students and families.

    We celebrate the diversity of our school community and create opportunities for all families to get involved.

    We take an active role in coordinating and supporting a wide range of learning opportunities for students.

    We help raise funds to support Silver Rail's programs and activities and classrooms.

    We facilitate community service opportunities for students and families. We honor our school’s kindness focus by extending our support to others.

Mission

The Silver Rail Elementary School PTO strives to build a strong school community, provide involvement opportunities for families, and promote activities that enrich the educational experience for all students and staff. We do this by building collaborative relationships and fundraising to support the needs of our school.
